Tumblr

Tumblr is a social networking website that allows users to upload multimedia and content to a short term blog which is of good use to post some of our photos we took. As you can see at the top right had side of my blog there is a widget to view all of our photos which I was able to embled instead of a seperate link.

We have used this internet service as we could easily and quickly upload all of our photos to show as evidence including our setup at MTV and behind the scenes action showing filming, planning and using specific techniques etc that could be used in future blog posts when explaining and having examples on how we did certain tasks. Not to mention showing the location and surroundings of where we filmed and performed.

We can hopefully use some of these images when it comes to creating our digipack in particular the inlays as we can put together pictures of the band setting up and performing, as many people like fan based stuff as it is a little extra allow with the CD and the album artwork for example. Also we have to create a magazine article about the artists, music video and album it would be interesting to have a picture from here perhaps so that readers can relate to it.

Overall Tumblr has allowed us to keep picture files organised and in a structured form to present the documents, which is one way we took advantage of it for as we had many photos from the days going down to MTV.
