Digipack Ideas

Here we have some images of how we intend to lay out our digipack album cover, we have managed to get hold of these images to relate this to our case as it will help give a concept for which we are aiming to achieve through this.

Band on the road, tours etc as the Raided by Waves band are doing this anyway which gave us the idea of this concept. Perhaps we could have the band on the road to make clear sense of this and as well as recognising who they are as they as new.

The country or woods theme setting is dark and mysterious some conventions that turned up occasionally in the genre of rock in my personal opinion

Think road safety logo

Logo and perhaps name of our band can be placed on the road  above to create a concept to show that they are leaving a mark in order for audiences and people to know as they are new for example.

As you can see on the road above we can stretch the image outwards for the bottom which then goes in at the top, slightly similar to this logo on the left however the position and framing will be different as will will centre it and create a different style to the font to make it our own.

A font style idea we found on Da font called "plane crash" has the same design however it has more of an effect on the way it ripples, when researching into different fonts and logos I came across that Nickelback did something similar with their own

This is a poster for the 2012 movie the amazing spiderman

Focusing only on the image itself:

Power and dominance is displayed as he is portrayed large and high in terms of the shadow.

The character hidden in the darkness, doesn't want to be known, Linkin park did something similar to this on their album cover "minutes to midnight" as the character Peter Parker who is spiderman wants to be save. The band could also have a similar concept as most rock artists are rebellious and therefore need to stay low in order not to get caught

Dark (black and white effect we used in our music video to show flashbacks/memories of the band, relatable...)

Even though these images we are referring to have no physical relation to the genre of rock through bands such as Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers it is important to remember that we are creating a original and fresh concept for our own digipack. These images only help us to explain and create a layout for the concept of our album cover in order to create a more successful and realistic view towards the band we have made
