Being introduced to the band "Raided By Waves" who were interested in taking part in our A2 media studies music video project, we took the approach to look up some of the songs the band performed and the genre it could be considered to be. They said themselves that they did portray an alternative rock image through their music and we could see that when going through their music on Sound Cloud account.

One song that caught our attention was their song "Secret Sin" this is a love and romantic story which is a classic rock story-line. Through this it helps us when it comes to creating the music video as the song does have a narrative side to it making it easier for us to relate both the actions and lyrics so that we can give reasons to why we made specific parts/scenes the way they are. As this is a secret love scenario audiences may also be able to relate to the events and lyrics being portrayed in the music video as they could have experienced this themselves and know how it feels like perhaps.

Another song we considered was "Every Second" by the same band which is another general rock song however explaining how important it was to relate the events and lyrics being shown in the music video we found it difficult to create a story, showing both the meaning towards it and the relation between both the music/video and the audience.
